These blankets hark back to the ones our grandparents had in their tack rooms — thick, heavy and warm. We also had them on the beds in the house growing up (along with a couple of dogs).
At 210 x 225 cm and made from 100% wool, they are bigger and heavier than anything else out there, we have looked and looked but no one is making them anymore so we have had to make our own. You just can’t find them anymore.
Ours live on our beds and our sofas, draped over tack room chairs,they are also great for picnics, while of course we also use them as an extra layer for our horses. They are in our Iggywick goldfinch colours and numbers are strictly limited.
